Special CTL Workshop on Assistive Technologies for Apple and Microsoft products

The Center for Teaching and Learning, in conjunction with USD’s Disabilities Services and the Sanford School of Medicine’s (SSOM) Center for Disabilities, is offering two special workshops next week regarding assistive technologies.  The workshops will be conducted by Luke Comeau, Director of Interdisciplinary Training and Technical Assistance at the SSOM.  Both workshops will occur on Friday, September 26, and will take place in MT110.  Times and a brief description are as follows:

September 26, 9:00-10:00am:  Tackling Today’s Technology:  A User’s Guide to Maximizing Efficacy in the Classroom using Microsoft Products.

In this session we will take an in-depth look at current Microsoft products and applications and learn how both faculty and students can utilize this technology. Education setting is getting bombarded with new technologies- come and learn how we take what’s new and available on the market and show how to use it effectively.
